calculate sum and sqsum

hello freinds ,how can tell me how can i calculate sum and sqsum with cvintegral i do this but without sucsess

Hi,
It is very easy. Just follow the documentation.
The outputs of cvIntegral must be 1 col and 1 row larger than the input.
To get the sum of a rectangle with corners a,b,c,d. you have to make
rectsum= sum(a)- sum(b)-sum(c)+sum(d)

thank you but i want ot calculate the sum and sqsum in generic region such as 8 by 8 pixel or 16 by 16 pixel please i need yor help

a cheap solution could be extract the region of interest in your image, and
then pass as argument in integral()
